From Storms to Sparks - My journey to finding purpose in Electrical Engineering

From Storms to Sparks ⚡

Life isn’t always a straight road. Sometimes, it’s filled with detours, storms, and dead ends. But every step, every turn, leads us closer to our true path. This is my story — raw, real, and a testimony to never giving up.

I started from the bottom. Like many dreamers, I enrolled in school, full of hope. But life had different plans. Circumstances forced me to drop out. I didn’t stop there. I found myself working aboard a ship — a new world, tough and demanding. Yet, even the sea couldn’t anchor my spirit.

After leaving the ship, I dove into business. I had a vision, ambition, and fire. But that fire wasn’t enough. The business crashed. I lost a lot, but not my will. I moved into computer engineering — another door, another hope. But that too came to a halt. Then came carpentry. I embraced the sawdust and sweat of furniture making. It was honest work, but again, not where my soul rested.

Still searching, I tried office work — the 9 to 5 life. It didn’t feel like me. I kept moving. And that’s when I found it — electrical engineering.

Something clicked.

The wires, the circuits, the logic, and the creation. It all felt right. Like the pieces of my broken past were forming a complete design. For the first time, I wasn’t forcing it. I wasn’t confused. I was home.

Now, I look forward with passion and focus. I believe electrical engineering is not just my career — it’s my calling. And with Allah’s help, I intend to live a fulfilled life through it.

To anyone reading this: Don’t give up when the path gets blurry. Keep moving. Every setback is a setup for a better story. This is mine. And yours is being written too.

  1. — that’s the spirit! 💯

Life is full of challenges, but giving up is never the answer. Even the Prophet Muhammad (ï·º) faced rejection, hardship, and pain — yet he stayed patient, consistent, and hopeful. That’s what made him successful.

So if *Plan A* fails, shift to *Plan B*, *C*, or even *Z* — but never stop moving.

    *Allah says:*
    *"Indeed, with hardship comes ease."*
    *(Qur'an 94:6)*

You just keep planting, watering, learning, praying — and your time will come, insha’Allah.

Keep your head up and your heart strong. You’re doing better than you think. Let's keep pushing together. 🚀🫡
